Rehearsal Pianist Auditions
Are you a proficient/excellent sight-reader, have a passion for musical theatre, or wish to work with singers? Then a rehearsal pianist may just be the perfect job for you. We at the muir musical are still looking for rehearsal pianists to assist our cast during rehearsals. If this interests you, please email our musical director, Amanda Ku, here.
Orchestra Auditions
Pit orchestra auditions will be held on November 17th and 18th from 3-7pm (time subject to change and room to be determined). The instrumentation calls for strings, brass, reeds and percussion (more information available here). Auditions will consist of briefly filling out some information about yourself, playing 30-60 seconds of an excerpt of your choosing that you feel best demonstrates your abilities, playing two major and/or minor scales (you will be told the scales at the audition), and a short sight-reading piece.
